Mukhrantubani is a legendary Georgian restaurant opened in 1981 in Tbilisi's historic district. Named after Mukhrantubani, one of Tbilisi's four oldest historic neighborhoods near the ancient city wall.
During the 1980s, it was a high-end, prestigious venue and a famous hub for Tbilisi’s elite, artists, and bohemian crowd. The historic building has been transformed into the Mukhrantubani Boutique Hotel, which still preserves its authentic old-world charm and features a Georgian restaurant.
